What’s better than going back home at the end of a long working day and have a good glass of your favourite wine?
Luckily, it turns out that it’s usefully for your mental health.
You don’t need to play Brain training, listen Beethoven or solve mathematical riddles to become smarter, because it appears that simply drink a glass of wine can do it as well.
One research from Gordon Sheperd from Yale explained in his book conclude that drink or taste the tasty alcoholic beverage can stimulate your brain activity, even more than solving a sophisticated logical issue.
What happens with your brain when you’re drinkig wine? The answer is simple. It’s actually the expectation of drinking that deliciuos glass of wine. When you think of drinking wine, your neurons react.
One quote says: “Wine engages more of the brain than any other human experience.”
Somehow,as it’s written in Sheperd’s book, when a glass of wine is tasting (or drinking), it has been sent a “flavour signal to the brain that triggers massive cognitive computation involving pattern recognition, memory, value, judgement, emotion and, of course, pleasure.”
It wasn’t the first time of revealing the amazing cerebral benefits of wine.
Another study, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, has been researching the brains of 26 people, half of them who are sommeliers and actively comsume wine, while the other half had jobs that require less wine drinking.
After several brain scans, it turns out that the first group of sommeliers had more developoed and robust segments of the bran, and the olfactory and memory response areas.
Some scientist are even convinced that drinking wine lowers the risk of Alzhmeimer’.
When you’re ready, go get it! It isn’t prohibited now! In the other hand, don’t exaggerate! Othen, but for a little!
It definitely worth drinking to!
