One of the major health issues affecting people around the world today is infections caused by parasites.
We accept that our pets have worms and parasites and those they need to be “de-wormed”. When you consider how many people are exposed to pets on a daily basis, and how many travel to third world countries which have serious worm and parasite infestations, it’s difficult to understand why we have such difficulty accepting that North Americans and Europeans also have worms and parasites?
Signs of Parasites within a Human Body
Signs of infection include less conclusive symptoms such as a runny nose, nighttime restlessness and blisters on the lower lip, inside the mouth. If you become infected, be prepared for a rough time. Infected individuals may feel bloated, tired and hungry. They may have allergies, anemia, lethargy, fuzzy thinking, headaches and rollercoastering blood sugar levels. They may experience restlessness, hair loss, diarrhea, arthritis, mineral imbalances and nighttime teeth grinding. One or more symptoms may occur to a greater or lesser degree depending upon the individual.
Especially with heavier infections, intestinal parasites can also cause symptoms such as:
- Loose, foul-smelling stools
- Mucous in stools
- Abdominal cramps and gas
- Loss of appetite
- Distended abdomen
- Listlessness and generally feeling unwell.
These symptoms may last for weeks and return several times a year. It’s important to remember that all of the above symptoms can be the result of other influences in addition to worms and parasites.
The good news is that there are some natural treatments that are effective at helping the body kill and remove yeast and parasites.
Natural Remedies for Yeast and Parasite Infestation
If you are doing any natural treatment for Candida, fungi or parasites, avoid all natural sugar sources from your diet, including honey and fruits. Also, avoid dairy products for 1-2 weeks to boost your body.
As your body kills off parasites and yeast, their by-products must be removed from the body, along with the toxins that they might have bound to. Some of these are best removed through the sweat glands, so let your body sweat by exercising, taking cayenne supplements and getting in hot tubs or saunas during the healing process.
Apple cider vinegar
Being rich in B-vitamins, apple cider vinegar helps the neutralization of the body’s pH and improves digestion too. It is very popular for destroying yeast and improving skin condition.
Start with 1 teaspoon up to 3 times daily about 30 minutes before each meal
As you know, vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant and immune system booster, thus, it is also helpful in removing yeast and parasites. Take 5,000 mg (5 grams) per day spread out in 2-3 doses. Do not consume too much of Vitamin C because it may cause loose bowel movements, especially when yeast and parasites are being removed.
Coconut Oil is naturally anti-fungal and very nourishing to the body. Consider taking several tablespoons a day additional as an antifungal support. This will also help support the hormones and reproductive system. To make it easier to take, dissolve a couple tablespoons in a hot tea of choice and drink.
Chop 1-2 cloves of garlic and drink in a cup of water before meals.
Olive oil has also antifungal properties that help the elimination of parasite and yeast waste. Add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or more to salads or veggies.
Probiotics renovate the intestinal flora, even after yeast and parasites have been removed. It is good to implement drinks like Kombucha or whole plain full-fat yogurt.
